I'm out of hibernation to talk about one of my favorite events of the year: The Sephora Holiday Savings Event! I've sort of abandoned blogging as of late, but feel in the mood to get back in the game and start talking product again. This sale is where I do the majority of my skincare and makeup shopping, so it really gets me thinking about what I want to restock, and what holes I have in my arsenal.

Rouge members get 20% off 10/28 to 11/07, VIB 15% off 11/01 to 11/07, and Insiders 10% off 11/03 to 11/07.

Starting with what I love and will be restocking, I have a few moisturizer faves I plan on picking up. First and foremost, I love the Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizer with Vitamin F. It is so thick and heavenly and works well for my dry skin year-round. While it's thick, it still absorbs nicely and doesn't feel oppressive. Big fan.

Another moisturizer favorite is the Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair Serum in Cream Treatment. This one is more lightweight than Ice, but still packs a punch moisture-wise. It's quite pricy, so I'm selective about when I use it. For example, it helps reduce redness, so I especially love this one post-workout before applying makeup. Even though it's labeled as an overnight repair mask, I find that it works just as well during the day.

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One AHA Lactic Acid Treatment is another repurchase for me. I love this stuff, and the large size lasts me about a year using it once or twice per week. I find that it gives my face a nice, even texture and overall glow. Again, it's pricy, but for the frequency that I use it and results it gives, I find it's worth it. I'd rather splurge on a few great products and keep my routine simple than use a ton of shit that just works okay.

The Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter is my favorite lip balm of all time! It was out of stock for a few months and I was really worried that it was discontinued, but she's back. And I will be buying at least three of them. I actually love the chubby applicator, it smells like a delicious cookie, and it leaves my lips feeling moisturized but not oily. The BEST. The only thing that would make it better would be an SPF version.

The Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick is another longtime repurchase. It's gentle enough that I use it both morning and night. I am also obsessed with the stick applicator; it makes applying it a breeze. It wears well under makeup, also. The only thing I don't like is how quickly I go through them, but for the price, I deal.

Moving on to my wishlist, I plan on trying the fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer.  I've heard nothing but good things about it from other folks with dry skin. Anything with hyaluronic acid is a plus in my book, and from trying this in store, the texture feels really nice.

The MERIT Great Skin Instant Glow Serum with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid is a newer product that sounds so lovely. I love to have a few good serums in my rotation, and I think this one fits the bill nicely. It's supposed to address dryness, dullness, and uneven texture, all of which are my primary skin concerns.

Another skincare product that has piqued my interest is the Sunday Riley 5 Stars Retinol + Niacinamide Eye Serum. It's another retinol eye cream, but this one sounds a bit more heavy duty. I have a thing against eye creams in pots, so I also dig the idea of this applicator.

During a recent trip to Sephora, I swatched the Danessa Myricks Beauty Twin Flames Liquid Eyeshadow in Sweetheart and really liked it! Described as an olive green with a walnut shift, it's a beautiful multi-dimensional color that I think would look really nice with brown eyes. I plan on using it as an all-over, one-and-done shadow.

The Dior BACKSTAGE Eyeshadow Palette in Khaki Neutrals is another eyeshadow that has caught my eye—I am clearly having a big green moment right now. I like that even though this is a primarily green palette, the colors are still wearable enough for every day. I also like the other Dior shadows I've tried, so I have high hopes for this one.

Speaking of Dior, the Dior Lip Glow Oil in Pink has been on my radar for a while. I have the lip oil in Mahogany, which I love, but want to try this classic pretty pink shade. Is there a makeup item more deliciously girly than a bubblegum pink lip gloss? I really like the texture of this one, too. It's not too thick or sticky.

I am really intrigued by the Fable & Mane HoliRoots™ Pre-wash Hair Treatment Oil. I haven't tried anything like it, but feel like my scalp could use some extra love. The reviews are great, and people say it smells amazing. Say less.

Now, much of my wishlist is dependent on this last thing: the Dyson Airwrap™ Multi-Styler. I have wanted an airwrap for yeeeaars. I got a Dyson blow dryer a few years ago and have used it literally every time I have washed my hair since. Most days I curl my hair, so the Airwrap seems like a practical purchase at this point. The only thing holding me back is that the only color in stock right now is this limited edition blue one. I know that's petty, but for the price, I don't want a color I don't love. We will see if one of the others is back in stock. If not, I may be waiting for the next sale to snag one.

Last but not least, I'm thinking about picking up the KILIAN Paris Love, Don't Be Shy perfume. I have a travel size of this and love it. It's a sweet, marshmallowy scent that is pretty and girly without being synthetic or cloying. I am into pairing perfume with outfits, and this one screams fluffy winter sweater to me. I love it.
